Members can order gift cards or pre-paid purchasing cards for many distributors from Land’s End to Subway Page 2 04/18/09 to Texaco. The club receives a percentage of the price (varies by store – from 1.5% at Shell Oil to 15% at L.L. Bean)…. Use SCRIP cards instead of cash or credit cards and benefit the club! Flower Power – Through the Michigan Bulb Co, order your plants to benefit the club. Packages of bulbs are available and 50% of the order comes back to the club. Good quality and good return to the club! To date we have raised $99.00. Country Supply, now Horse.com, accepts orders for horse supplies on line. The club gets a 5% rebate. This year the club has raised $57.18 to date. Andrée reported at the National Convention, the VC Club was awarded 4th place in the AMHA Club of the Year contest. This was due entirely to Mary Daughtry’s efforts putting together a beautiful club scap book. There are several other aspects of the contest, but the yearbook was the VC entry – there is not an award just for scrap books. Thanks, and congratulations Mary! The meeting was adjourned at 4:25.
