to Administer this worthwhile fund. The committee wants donors to

I recently bought my gelding in Jan.-LM.I.
Coalition Sonrise. I am riding him
saddleseat and not sure just yet what division
we will be showing in. He has come a long
way since January, and I am enjoying him so
much. In fact we are going to be representing
the Morgan breed next weekend at "Horse on
Campus"at a nearbny community college.He
is so smart and learns so fast. I just love
him!!! I am in a barn full of Saddlebreds and
he thinks he is just as big or bigger. I will try
to attach a picture from his halter class. I
think he is so handsome. I know I am gushing
but this is my first horse I actually own, have
leased ASB's before I got him.I am also the
treasurer for ASHAV- American Saddlebred
Horse Assoc.Of Va. .I would love to get
involved with VCMHC. _

You Could Win a Morgan!
AMHA's "Team Morgan" is conducting an essay contest to promote the Morgan horse to equine-minded youth across the country and to raise funds for Team Morgan to travel to and host international equitation competitions. Copper Beech Morgans has graciously and generously offered the grand prize, a two-year-old Morgan gelding, CBMF Walk the Line who is fondly known as Cash!
Applications are available from Sara Foy or call Sara at 603-642-4125 for more information. Submissions are due by November 15. Finalists will be notified by December 15 and the tentative date for interview completions is January 15, 2009. Winners will be announced at the 2009 AMHA Convention.

Dear Friends & Members:
Our club has been made aware of the 2009 Pony Club Annual Meeting/Convention being
held in Greensville , South Carolina on January 22-25, 2009.
The AMHA would be happy to sponsor a booth for this event, although they do not have
the staff to man it. Would any of you be willing to take this on? AMHA would pay for the
booth and supply the literature, we would need a decision by Oct. 1.
This would be a great promotional activity for the Morgan on behalf of the club. It is also
great to have our national organization fund the booth and literature. Let's get some
volunteers to make this a great exposure for the Morgan!
Please contact V-P, VCMHC and Dir. of Promotional Activities Suzette Boisselle at
harmonymorgans@yahoo.com if interested in participating. She will have additional info
and there will be more information on the club web site www.vcmhc.org
Harmony Morgans wants to congratulate the Rolleri family
on the purchase of "Vox Monstro" (Maska) 2 yr old gelding
by Morannon Mescalero out of Hearth's Bailey, proving the
"potato chip factor" of owning Morgans, you can't own just
one! He joins Flintlocks Gidget. Look for Dad, Micheal, and
Maska in the trail and western in hand classes next year!
Want to know how it all turned out?
