Rebecca was 4th overall in the Large Pony division out of 19 entries - she was the only Junior in that division. She won her Scurry Obstacle Class by 5 seconds! She was also the overall AMHA Morgan Horse Champion for the Show. Rebecca was awarded honors during the Parade of Champions on Sunday afternoon. She was thrilled but completely exhausted. This compares to the Grand Nationals for Carriage competitions as far as hard work and exhaustion are concerned! Submitted by Leanne Jones, Rebecca's Mom. CONGRATULATIONS to HAILEY GARBEE!! The Virginia Carolinas Morgan Horse Club's 2009 Cynthia Epperson Outstanding Youth Award recipient! This very special annual award was first initiated in 1979 in memory of Cynthia Epperson. It is awarded to the Junior Exhibitor demonstrating the best attitude towards showing, their fellow exhibitors, care of their horse and behavior in and out of the show ring.
